Web documentary Maiden of the Lake released

Petteri Saario’s web documentary Maiden of the Lake tells a story of 12-years-old Emika, who her summer on a small island in the lake called Saimaa together with her cousin Antti. Emika is a brave and charismatic girl, who is enthralled by water and nature. Together with Antti they build the most magnificent hut in the forest, pick berries and mushrooms, fish and make a fire.

Maiden of the Lake is the first Finnish web documentary targeted at children from seven to 12, aimed at inspiring them to go out and finding exciting and improving things to do in the nature.

Maiden of the Lake can be experienced alone or together with friends or parents. This web documentary is suited very well for teaching at schools, and it works both on a computer and on tablets and smartphones.
